University of Scholars (UoS)

University of Scholars (UoS) is a private research-oriented university located in Banani, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Established in 2015 (formerly The International University of Scholars), the university was founded with the vision of developing world-class researchers and industry-ready professionals through quality education, innovation, and interdisciplinary research. It is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh and operates under the Ministry of Education.

The university follows an American-inspired academic curriculum with a strong emphasis on research, technology-enhanced learning, and practical education. Guided by its motto, "We Build Professionals," UoS integrates modern educational technologies into teaching while fostering critical thinking, innovation, and lifelong learning.

Today, University of Scholars serves thousands of students through undergraduate and postgraduate programs across disciplines including Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Textile Engineering, Business Administration, English, Law, Public Health, Pharmacy, and Social Sciences. Its modern urban campus provides advanced laboratories, digital learning facilities, a comprehensive library, and collaborative learning spaces that support academic excellence and research.
