King Faisal University (KFU)

King Faisal University (KFU) is one of the leading public research universities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Established in 1975 by Royal Decree, the university is located in Al-Ahsa (Hofuf), Eastern Province, a UNESCO World Heritage oasis renowned for its cultural and historical significance. Since its founding, KFU has grown into a nationally recognized institution committed to academic excellence, research innovation, and sustainable development.

Today, the university serves more than 90,000 students through a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and distance-learning programs. With 15 colleges, numerous research centers, and over 2,000 faculty members, KFU offers education across engineering, computer science, agriculture, veterinary medicine, business, law, health sciences, education, arts, and applied sciences.
